The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit. Greenstone Gold Mines LP is owned by Equinox Gold Corp, a Vancouver-based mining company with seven other operating mines in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
Greenstone Mine is seeking an Infrastructure Projects Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Sustaining Capital Projects the Infrastructure Projects Coordinator will play a key role in the planning and execution of relocating historically deposited tailings to its permanent storage location.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Promote and ensure safe work practices and good environmental practices.
• Act as joint Package Lead overseeing activities of the Goldfield Creek remediation and rehabilitation, assisting in reporting, administration and management of the scope.
• Act as joint Package Lead in planning and overseeing activities related to the demolition works in Mac Leod Township, assisting in reporting, administration and management of the scope.
• Monitor the quality of works carried out to ensure the final product meets GGM objectives.
• Monitor project progress on a schedule and cost basis to ensure alignment with GGM targets.
• Collaborate with other members of the Sustaining Capital Projects team and provide support when required.
• Coordinate with other GGM departments, as required, to facilitate the work.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• Possess 5-10 years of project supervisory experience within the mining sector
• Project Management Professional with schedule capabilities are an asset

LOCATION

• This position will be based in Geraldton, Ontario on a rotational basis.
