We are the No. 1 provider of MES systems in the long steel industry and our flagship MES product, QMOS, is the new standard of MES in the North American long steel manufacturing industry with some of the major names such as Nucor, Gerdau and CMC as its users.
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support Product teams and drive product quality.
Responsibilities include:

• Analyze business requirements to design test cases, scenarios and test data in Agile Scrum environment.

• Create test plan, test strategy and test approach for testing Web, Mobile and Desktop Clients apps.

• Collaborate with the Business analysts, Developers and Business stakeholders to perform integration, system, regression and non-functional testing

• Work with the development and product teams to successfully resolve any issues that are found during testing

• Support implementation of process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency of Quality Assurance.

• Participate in test planning activities and provide work effort estimate for testing based on the Sprint /release scope.

• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems

• Execute test cases and then analyze and report test results to product teams

• Set up test environments with necessary test data required for test execution.

• Promotes culture of quality within the Product teams.

• Generate Test Execution and Defect Summary report for Product teams and Business Stakeholders.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill the job function or as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 3 -5 years of work experience as QA Analyst or similar role.

• ISTQB Foundation or any other testing certification

• Successful completion of an undergraduate degree required Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Expertise in test planning, test scripts, test execution and test result analysis in Agile Scrum environment.

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and organization skills.

• Experience in testing API’s and web service technologies (i.e., REST, SOAP)

• Experience in steel manufacturing or systems integration projects an asset.

• Experience using test automation tools like Cypress and Selenium is nice to have.

• Experience or knowledge of Dev Ops QA practices

• Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA / Azure Dev Ops

• Ability to write complex SQL queries

• Experience with Mobile Testing and mobile testing tools.

• Passionate about testing and software quality and shows willingness to take on additional responsibilities to tackle quality issues.

Pay: $39,874.17-$60,317.12 per year
