The Marketing Automation Specialist is a technical expert responsible for the implementation and evolution of marketing automation global initiatives for Lightspeed. They will play a key role in supporting the region's needs and ensure that strategies are constantly optimized based on provided insights. The team consists of 50 people located in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. They are responsible for developing and executing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement.

The Marketing Automation Specialist is a technical expert responsible for the implementation and evolution of marketing automation global initiatives for Lightspeed. They will play a key role in supporting the region's needs and ensure that strategies are constantly optimized based on provided insights. The team consists of 50 people located in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. They are responsible for developing and executing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement.
What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with other Marketing Automation Specialists and internal stakeholders to launch, manage and optimize email campaigns to drive business goals
- Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing and deployment, and process optimization
- Manage and maintain email calendar across various regions and business verticals
- Support strategic programs across the customer lifecycle (batch sends, journeys and triggers)
- Launch, develop and manage operational and marketing messages for leads and existing customers on our website (in-app messages) using our chat software (Intercom)
- Be responsible for the management of our marketing automation tools
- Manage the email database to ensure compliance with GDPR, CASL and other privacy regulations
- 2+ years experience in marketing automation or email marketing
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automation workflows and triggers with enterprise-level ESPs and CRMs (Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce)
