Role
As a forward-thinking digital agency, we specialize in creating impactful digital experiences for our clients. We are looking for a Marketing & Optimization Manager who is passionate about analytics, SEO, and data-driven website optimization strategies to help steer our digital marketing efforts towards measurable success.
As a Marketing & Optimization Manager you are a subject matter expert in Google Marketing Platform and Looker Studio. You should also be knowledgeable of SEO monitoring and CRO platforms. This is an intermediate position. We want to see you showcase your expertise and be a marketing and optimization team leader, bringing new solutions and ideas to the agency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze website analytics and heatmap data, and develop insights and recommendations
- Developing website optimization strategies for clients
- Configure and implement complex GA4/GTM accounts
- Implement HIPAA-compliant analytics solutions, including Piwik Pro and server-side tagging
- Produce Looker Studio dashboards for clients and internal project teams
- Conduct SEO audits using Search Console and SEMRush, and develop insights and recommendations
- Develop SEO strategies for newly launched websites
- Provide analytics and SEO consult on active client accounts
- Present analytics and optimization recommendations to clients and internal project teams
- Implementation of user testing and CRO testing
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing practices and current trends in analytics, SEO, and website optimization strategies
- Advanced expertise with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio
- Experience with SEMRush or similar SEO monitoring tools
- Ability to translate client goals into actionable strategies and implementation plans
- Experience creating and giving presentations in a client-facing role
- Experience collaborating with remote, cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain the technical concepts to non technical people
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The practicals
- Position: This is a 6 month, full-time contract position.
- Salary: Salary range for this position is $80-90k annually.
- Location: This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must be based in Canada.
- Core working hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Reporting: This role reports to Christy Jones, Director of Marketing & Optimization
