What are teacher requirements?
We are looking for self motivated and enthusiastic teachers who have the ability to motivate students and control the online classroom.
Eligible to legally work in the U.S. or Canada
A computer with a webcam, and connected with internet
Bachelor’s degree
Teaching license or English teaching certificate (such as: TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, ESL)

Where can I teach from?
This is an online, work from home job. You can teach anywhere from the U.S. and Canada.
What are the hours?
(EST TIME):
Mon-Sun
6 am – 9 am
8 pm-11:30 pm.
How do I teach?
Before you start a new class, we will assign you a Chinese assistant. He or she can set up Zoom meeting or Tencent meeting for you and students one week before class.
Do I need to do any lesson plans?
Not necessarily, but you will need to prepare for each lesson by familiarizing yourself with the materials. Preview the lessons and possibly have appropriate props available to aid in teaching.
How long is one lesson?
Each in-lesson time is 25 minutes. Teachers are required to check the classroom equipment 3 minutes before the lesson. And 2 minutes for standby.
How many students will I be teaching per lesson?
It depends different class types.
Small class: 1-4 students
Middle class: around 10 students
Large class: around 20 students
Do I need to communicate with parents?
No, Chinese assistants will communicate with parents and provide feedback periodically.
Time and Scheduling
Before you start a new class, Chinese assistants will talk with you about the schedule, then you can teach the class at some time every week.
