We are looking for a Ramp Handler/Baggage Handler who will provide direct support to the Shift Supervisor. The successful candidate will be an energetic, positive, professional, and self-motivated individual providing exceptional operational support.

Job Description

• Responsible for loading, unloading and servicing aircraft.
• Fanatical emphasis on Service Quality.
• Demonstrate a Safety First attitude
• Create good housekeeping practices in the workplace
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.

Requirements & Qualifications
· Previous experience in the aviation industry or in a similar role is preferred.
· Class 5 driver's license (Class 5 GDL is accepted), clean Drivers abstract.
· Able to secure an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit ( AVOP).
· Able to secure Transport Canada RAIC.
· Ability to lift 70 lbs independently.
· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
· Highly motivated and able to work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to multi-task and establish priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
· Must always maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms.
· Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the Samsic Assistance Team.

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
