Senior Back-End Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Node.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
- Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries in Mongo DB to support the needs of various applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and mentorship to other team members to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for back-end architecture, design patterns, and implementation details.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on Node.js and Mongo DB.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, indexing, and query optimization in Mongo DB.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of back-end development best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading small development teams and providing technical guidance.
- Experience with cloud-based services like AWS or Microsoft Azure, particularly in deploying, scaling, and managing back-end services.
- Experience working with financial data, such as market data, trade data, and portfolio data.
- Knowledge of financial data analysis, modeling techniques, and how to optimize back-end systems to handle large volumes of financial data efficiently.
- Understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and their impact on back-end development and data management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
