Senior Rail Engineer

Our team is looking for a full-time Senior Rail Engineer (Contractor) who is driven to deliver their best work every day and are committed to working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design track and railway infrastructure in accordance with applicable regulations, laws and standards
- Participate in the design and construction of projects
- Lead and assist with the preparation of proposals, design packages, and tender documentation
- Utilize rail experience to mentor junior and intermediate engineers on rail design
- Work collaboratively with project managers and multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams
- Degree in Civil or Rail Engineering from an accredited University
- Registered professional engineer with APEGA. Registration in other jurisdictions is considered an asset.
- 10+ years of experience on civil earthworks projects
- 10+ years of experience in design of track and railway infrastructure
- Experience in the design of crossings
- Working knowledge of AREMA Standards
- Familiar with CN and CP rail industrial track standards
- Certification in track inspection would be considered an asset
- Ability to utilize Auto CAD and Civil 3D proficiently would be considered an asset
