COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Established in 1979, Toro Aluminum has become a leader in the development and manufacturing of window walls and doors for high-rise condominiums, office buildings, and hotels, across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

REPORTING
The Service Technician reports directly to the Service Coordinator at Toro Aluminum. The hours of the work are Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Travel to various job sites daily
• Perform service work on window wall installations and troubleshoot to fix problems that occur after the installation.
• Perform some installation of windows and window components.
• Install and replace screens.
• Perform work on high-rise condominiums.
• Communicate with various stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma.
• Experience using various power tools.
• Experience and ability to work at heights.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Swing stage and suspended access certification is an asset.

The candidate must be punctual and reliable as this is a fast-paced work environment with many ongoing commitments with our clients. The ability to work without supervision and communicate effectively with coworkers and the client are important factors of the job. Overtime and some weekend work are required and the candidate is expected to work with management to help ascertain organizational goals.
