Service Technician - Pumps and Compressors

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing rotating equipment, specifically pumps and compressors, along with a professional journeyman designation of millwright, heavy duty mechanic, machinist.
This position will be working primarily from the Edmonton service center but will support the region at time with field support for start-ups, commissioning, and field repair service.
Job Summary:
- Weekly performance of priorities and progress on open orders and warranty assignments.
- Be responsible for day-to-day functions related to Field Service start-ups and site commissioning of rotating equipment, as assigned by the CSM-Service.
- Be responsible for day-to-day functions related to shop service, as assigned by the CSM-Service.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Be a point of contact to the Customer on Field Service related orders assigned to you.
- Be responsible for inspection of pump and / or compressor equipment.
- Prepare comprehensive field service reports for submission.
- Be responsible for providing superior product support, for Represented Manufacturer?s Rotating Equipment.
- Maintain Service vehicles, Service tools and supplies assigned to you.
Required Certifications & Training
- Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright
Work Conditions
- Travel will be required.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime is required.
- Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs.
