Valuations Senior Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and well rounded individual for the role of Senior Valuations and M&A Manager to oversee the valuation process within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a CBV designation. Ideally, they would have assisted on numerous audit support, litigation support and M&A matters, while managing team members. They would have developed their own relationships with referral sources either in the GTA or across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the valuation team, providing guidance and support throughout the valuation process.
- Assist in ADRs and trial related matters.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports that clearly communicate findings and methodologies used.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for valuations, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to business valuation.
- Review and validate the work of team members to ensure high-quality outputs.
- CBV designation is an absolute requirement for this role.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, ASA) is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and to provide supervision
- Strong analytical, technical, and business development skills
- Developing and maintaining their own technical expertise related to specific engagements
Pay: $72,272.38-$152,522.53 per year
