Team Auction's main office is in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We have 5 locations in total (Drayton Valley, Edmonton, Fairview, Taber and Kamloops, BC). Our low commission rates and aggressive marketing strategies help our customers sell and buy items successfully. Team Auctions is proud to have won awards for "Best Marketing Website".
We are currently looking for someone to help coordinate our Kamloops yard and assist in the development of this location as the company grows.
Main Objective
The main objective of the Yard Coordinator at Team Auctions is to coordinate and manage auction yard logistics, maintenance, and activities.
Responsibilities

• Coordinate the auction yard logistics (including intake, storage, setup and load out) within the auction yard to company standards and clearly communicate all procedures to all applicable teams.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the auction yard, ensuring that it is safe and organized for both employees and customers.
• Ensure that security measures are in place at the auction yard to protect items and prevent theft or damage.
• Oversee the seamless intake, storage, and loadout of auction assets, and manage inventory at the auction yard, including tracking, organizing, and preparing items for inspection and auction.
• Manage the maintenance of the auction yard, equipment and all assisting resources ensuring they are kept to the highest condition.
• Provide regular reports to the Site Manager on the status of items at the auction yard, including inventory levels, auction results, and any issues that arise.
• Assist the Equipment Inspection Coordinator with asset setup and auction preparation and ensure that asset listings are accurate, and up to company standards
• Oversee and manage yard/offsite staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers at the auction yard, answering questions, providing information, and addressing any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License
• Class 1 (Asset)

Working Conditions
Will be required to work outside in all Weather conditions. Overtime must be pre-approved by the manager.
Physical Requirements
May have to lift up to 50lbs.
Motion Parameters
Required to climb stairs, walk, squat, kneel, or drive and stand for long periods of them.
Vision and Hearing Requirements
The ability to judge distances when loading/unloading and placing excepted.
Psychological Demands
Expected to make quick decisions, supervise workers, problem solve, read or write, speak publicly, or interpret data.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
