We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer in Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality web application. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams, located in the United States, to ship new features.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using Java Script, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.
Responsibilities (Following best practices in the SDLC)

• Create tests before coding
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards
• Test own code and participate in End-to-End testing
• Debug and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to the continuous maintenance of app and services

Qualifications
Excellent English proficiency:

• Able to communicate daily with non-Spanish speaking peers
• Capable of describing highly technical concepts to English speakers
• Proficient in expressing opinions and concerns, in context

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and on a team
Proof of education in the field of Front-End Software Development
At least 2 years of experience Front-End Stack

• Java Script
• Typescript
• Vue3 Framework, including Composition API
• Pinia state management
• Data visualization libraries, such as Highcharts or e Charts
• CSS/HTML
• Sending/Receiving data (RESTful services, Mongo DB or other no SQL databases, Elasticsearch)
• Defining and Reading JSON data schemas
• Git Hub

Bonus Skills and Experience

• Tailwind CSS framework
• Cypress or other Automated Testing tools
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines (Elastic Beanstalk, Git Hub Actions, Code Pipeline)
