Working location: Shanghai
Reporting to: Group Controller, APAC (dot-line to China CFO)
Subordinate: China Accounting Managers (based in Dalian)

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead China accounting managers to work with Business Centers, Regional Business Finance, Business and other related parties on day-to-day accounting matters, including:

• Lead month-end closing process and drive on-time and quality closure
• Review and sign off financial result for the region
• Review account reconciliations and enhance quality of balance sheet
• Execute compliance with policies & procedures and enhance control environment for Controllership reviews and key focus areas
• Drive Continuous Improvement of E2E process with Business Impact
• Support Business project from financial and accounting prospective
• Team management and talent development

What we look for

• 6 – 10 years in complex finance/controlling roles in US or other foreign company or in an accounting firm
• Audit and controlling background preferred
• Experience of leadership role in shared service center is preferred
• Business revel English is mandatory
• Advanced Excel skill and Power Point
• Experienced with MS-Office, ERPs (SAP, i Scala, Oracle) and One Stream
• Leadership and project management experience required
• Team player with good communication skills across all levels of the organization
• University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
• CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent required
