Accounting Controller, China

Reporting to: Group Controller, APAC (dot-line to China CFO)
Subordinate: China Accounting Managers (based in Dalian)
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead China accounting managers to work with Business Centers, Regional Business Finance, Business and other related parties on day-to-day accounting matters, including:
- Lead month-end closing process and drive on-time and quality closure
- Review and sign off financial result for the region
- Review account reconciliations and enhance quality of balance sheet
- Execute compliance with policies & procedures and enhance control environment for Controllership reviews and key focus areas
- Drive Continuous Improvement of E2E process with Business Impact
- Support Business project from financial and accounting prospective
- Team management and talent development
What we look for
- 6 – 10 years in complex finance/controlling roles in US or other foreign company or in an accounting firm
- Audit and controlling background preferred
- Experience of leadership role in shared service center is preferred
- Business revel English is mandatory
- Advanced Excel skill and Power Point
- Experienced with MS-Office, ERPs (SAP, i Scala, Oracle) and One Stream
- Leadership and project management experience required
- Team player with good communication skills across all levels of the organization
- University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
- CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent required
