The Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist in Beijing. This role involves managing past-due accounts and delivering exceptional customer service, while also collaborating with customers on payment terms. The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, and outgoing, with a genuine passion for helping others. As a self-starter who takes initiative, you should thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism at all times. Effective communication with both external customers and internal stakeholders is essential.
As an AR Specialist you will:
- Interact with clients directly and answer questions regarding invoices
- Research and resolve account discrepancies and any other outstanding issues
- Process and record payments
- Perform administrative tasks: filling vendor forms, creating vendor profiles in platforms, uploading invoices to vendor platforms
- Update, correct, and generate invoices
- Answer phone calls
- Conduct payment investigations
- Maintain accounts receivables files and records
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
- Manage disputes
- Follow defined policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous process improvement
- Handle ad hoc duties
About You:
- Accounting experience
- Finance background is a plus
- Strong knowledge of English (company language)
- Customer service orientation (previous customer service experience is a plus)
- Ability to prioritize and organize work to produce results
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- University degree
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player
