Apple’s Channel Sales team in Greater China is responsible for expanding market reach and driving sales growth by leveraging the networks and expertise of trusted resellers in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The Business Planning role requires innovation on applying advanced analytics and machine learning to forecast demand, and leveraging digital tools to automate supply allocation process and optimize channel inventory of resellers and stores.

Description

Digitalization of Planning and Operations Process - Design and build an end-to-end autonomous supply-demand fulfillment system, starting from store demand forecasting, and reseller inventory forecasting to supply fulfillment back to store - Optimize and automate sales operations processes through innovation of digitalization, such as using coding and digital tools to mimic and optimize human logics, meanwhile build the flexibility to cope with business changes - Accumulate business insights through data analytics, incl. data mining to discover patterns and correlations, statistical analysis to interpret data, and data visualization to convey findings and insights optimally - Initiate and manage projects to tackle business problems and achieve business goals through good planning, organization, innovative solution and effective collaboration
  • Expert in technology and supply chain management, excellent in using machine learning, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau tools to optimize and automate business planning
  • Excellent data analysis, management, and visualization skills. Able to identify trends and solutions
  • Informs decisions and makes recommendations grounded in data and analytics
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience
  • Professional proficiency in English & Mandarin Chinese
