OSM Thome is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our dynamic team on an Offshore Wind Turbine Installation Vessel in China. This crucial role involves ensuring the machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition to support wind turbine installations safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on vessel machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with the installation and alignment of large equipment and components.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and other crew members to support vessel operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Fitter in a maritime environment, preferably on similar vessels.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under challenging offshore conditions.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
