Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications
- (For secondary ELA and primary international homeroom teachers): Must hold a passport from the US, UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, or Canada
- For all other teaching positions: Open to persons of any nationality
- Four-year degree from an accredited university
- PGCE or higher
- Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school
Preferred Qualifications
- Include the minimum qualifications, plus the following:
- Master’s degree, preferably in education or the subject the teacher instructs
- QTS, national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent
- Five years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school
- Candidates currently living in China are preferred

Job Description:A Science Teacher at Kaiwen Academy works with students from grades 6-8 in Middle School and 9-12 in High School to provide support for science skills development.
General Science teacher for Middle School, Chemistry and Biology teachers for High School.
A Science Teacher is expected to:

A Science Teacher is expected to:
- Be passionate about teaching and able to motivate learners to reach their full potential
- Be well-organized and punctual
- Teach a combination of Science classes up to 25 classes per week
- Familiar with AP/A-level curriculum
- Lead or assist in conducting extra-curricular clubs or Enrichment Programs (EP) programs up to 3 hours and or teams/academic classes/study halls.
- Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines and requirements of the school.
- Plan lessons, units, and projects with clear objectives, which help students understand and achieve those objectives
