The position is expected to have a positive impact on PPG PMC sales and financial objectives by developing relationships that achieve inclusion of PMC Products in specifications with engineering and specifying owners who are identified as priorities in the Infrastructure Segment and Key accounts in China. You will also chase the project from the owners and design institute, but not actual sales, as direct sales will fall under the responsibility of the local sales teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage/develop relationships and specification positions with current owner and engineering clients with focus in areas identified by PC China as growth or core segments.
  Identify, pursue, develop and implement specifications and product recommendations for and with owner and engineering.
  Develop the new business through visiting the new owner and engineering accounts and propose the suitable coating systems.
  Liaise with owner accounts, engineering houses, in the course of project coordination.
  Policy compliance – manage all activities in compliance with PPG Global Code of Ethics, Environmental Health & Safety requirements and Export Compliance guidelines
  

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years in the PMC industry with both technical and commercial experience. Suitable technical or business degree.
  
• Industry business background such as coating, equipment or similar.
  
• Professional qualification such as NACE, FROSIO or equivalent is better.
  
• Sound knowledge of industry codes, practices and certification of materials.
  
• Expected travel would likely exceed 50%
