We are now inviting candidates to apply for the following position, which will be employed under John Swire & Sons (China) Limited - Beijing Resident Office.



This role aims to support the Shanghai Resident Office in government relationships, branding/CSR initiatives, internal reports and business supports.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with IBALC Secretariat to support IBLAC activities, e.g. paper, annual meeting, and logistics
• Draft and submit meeting request, liaise with and coordinate government visits internally and externally
• Monitor the latest political and economic development in Shanghai and draft regular reports
• Plan, develop and implement CSR projects per three-pillar CSR strategies
• Work closely with Service Agent (SA) on promotion and interview process, to ensure SA’s scoped services be well delivered, and the SCS’ objectives be met
• Assist in lobbing government supports for the existing and new businesses in Shanghai

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• University degree or professional qualification in the discipline of Communications, Public Administration or Public Governance
• Communicating effectively with all levels of management and staff as well as external individuals and groups
• Skilled in analyzing and interpreting legislation and policy documents
• Solid project management and coordination experience
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in Chinese government relations and business development is preferred
