We are looking for a creative and inspiring teacher to teach MYP Mathematic s and Sciences at WAB Middle School.
JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY EXPECTATIONS
The MYP Mathematic s and Sciences teacher will work collaboratively with other department members and support teachers as needed to develop common unit plans, effective and engaging learning experiences and assessment strategies congruent with WAB's assessment guidelines and curriculum. The MYP Mathematic s and sciences teacher will, whenever appropriate, employ an inquiry-based approach and differentiate lessons to support the needs and interests of individual students. The MYP Mathematic s and science s teacher is expected to serve as a mentor teacher, contribute to the extra curricular activities of the school and be involved in school development. The MYP Mathematic s and sciences teacher is supported by the MS Head of Mathematic s and Head of Science s in the implementation of the MYP Mathematics and science curriculum, assessment and reporting processes.

At least two years working experience:

• As a full time Mathematic s and Sciences Teacher in a classroom setting
• With diverse students from a range of cultural and educational backgrounds including those with EAL, learning support, counseling and enrichment needs (preferred)
• Teaching IB MYP (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree (specializing in Mathematics and Science)
• Recognized Teaching Qualification and/or Registration
• Completed IB MYP workshops (preferred)
