Plant Manager - Shanghai Manufacturing Hub

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to take the helm at our client’s manufacturing facility in Shanghai. This position entails complete oversight of plant operations, with a strong focus on achieving production targets, upholding high quality standards, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Duties:
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong command of both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
In-depth understanding of local regulatory frameworks affecting manufacturing operations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive teams toward success.
Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments.
Experience working in multinational settings is highly desirable.

Key Duties:
- Oversee all operational activities of the plant, focusing on production output, quality control, and timely distribution.
- Manage supply chain logistics, including the import of raw materials, inventory oversight, and ensuring smooth customs processes.
- Lead and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Ensure the plant adheres to safety regulations and meets all compliance requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for local regulatory bodies and government agencies.
- Handle the P&L, ensuring financial targets are met, and managing the budget for capital expenditures.
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
