AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two Io T labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. Amazon Web Services has supported over 10,000 local startups and has provided cloud skills training to over 700,000 talents. Amazon’s first two utility-scale renewable projects—a solar farm and a wind farm—are also generating clean energy to the country’s grid.
The team: AWS GCR (Greater China Region) Marketing Tech team is an organization that consolidates our current technical investments in Marketing Tech area, focusing on two broad missions: 1) provide Marketing with compliant data infrastructure and tools; 2) deliver an engaging experience for visitors and customers across channels. To support the vision, we concentrate on three areas: 1) CN Marketing Data Warehouse - to build a comprehensive marketing DW compliant with China data residency and privacy regulations; 2) CN Marketing Tools - to build automated tools that marketers can use to engage customers with the right contents; 3) Marketing channel customer experience - to offer seamless omni-channel experience to effectively reach AWS buyers and builders. We work closely with AWS global Marketing Tech and China's local Marketing and Sales Business teams to innovate and create the best B2B digital marketing solutions in the world.
The role: the team is looking for a Product Manager - Technical to own and drive products within AWS China. You will work with both local and global stakeholders to define requirements, gain alignment and build solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to roadmap building for engineering teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and manage product feature requirements, writing PRFAQ and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Develop and maintain feature roadmaps that align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, customers, and partners to gather feedback and ensure successful product delivery.
- Use data and customer insights to prioritize feature development and make informed product decisions.
- Work with engineering teams to define and implement features that enhance user experience and drive growth.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and support successful product launches.
- Monitor product feature performance and adjust strategies based on key metrics and market feedback.
