Quality & Compliance Director

Description
Ensure ongoing compliance of all commercialized products in China, with the applicable local Health Authority regulations as well as with Corporate Quality Principles.
Ensure effective deployment and robust governance of Quality Management System at Local Operating Company and 3PL/Distribution Centers for sustained Quality Compliance and high performance.
Ensure timely delivery and robust governance for all committed business projects, PLIs, PEDs and L&A due diligence initiatives.
Provide Consumer insights to local Board and interfaces with E2E Supply Chain Leader for product quality improvement projects and support NPI idea generation, CIP & value creation, continuous improvements as the one Quality voice for the market.
Be the primary Quality contact to the Commercial partners and Deliver Operations in China, on matters related to Product Quality and Regulatory Compliance, enabling compliant business growth.
Lead preparedness of Local Operating Company and Distribution Centers for regulatory inspections and internal corporate audits to ensure successful outcome, ensuring business continuity in a compliant manner.
Escalate Quality and Regulatory Compliance related issues to Head of Q&C China, drive its thorough investigation and speedy resolution by deploying suitable corrections, and effective corrective & preventive actions. Participate in Escalation meetings and Quality Review Board meetings to decide appropriate action for the impacted products and its reporting to Health Authority.
Deploy Q&C resources and budgets in line with business needs, manage existing resources/ SMEs across the region to standardize best practices. Engage employees in constructive dialogue and fostering initiatives for identifying, recruiting and nurturing talent within Commercial Quality, Trade Quality and Segment Quality pillars. Manage talent pipeline and build capabilities in line with functional and business priorities and to match the industry standard.

Qualifications

10 - 15 years Senior level management experience preferably in a regulated medical industry. - Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering or equivalent field coupled with extensive and relevant business experience in Quality leadership roles.
- Diverse business background of 10+ years, with quality and regulatory compliance competencies in the areas of manufacturing, customer service, transportation, distribution, and commercial operations for a healthcare business.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, able to inspire trust and quickly build credibility within the Quality & Compliance, Supply Chain, and Commercial organizations
- Proficient in English language, trained & certified on Quality accreditations, well-versed with Health Authority regulations, exceptional leadership capabilities, ability to work in a highly matrixed global organization.
- Strong communication skills with process improvement experience/certification ( Lean Six Sigma or equivalent)
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and ability to challenge status quo.
