Today, Exxon Mobil’s business portfolio in China spans the full spectrum of the industry, from upstream to downstream, chemicals and technology center.
Exxon Mobil has a long-term commitment to China through investments, products, technologies and partnerships, helping meet China’s growing demand for energy and petrochemical products.
Lubricants
Exxon Mobil also markets automotive, commercial and industrial lubricants in China under the Mobil brand. Two state-of-the-art lubricant plants are located in Tianjin and Taicang, Jiangsu Province, and expansions were completed in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
In 2020, Exxon Mobil, Tencent, Tuhu and a distribution holding company formed a joint venture to establish an integrated ‘supply to business to consumers’ car care network.
