Senior Project Manager, D&B

What this job involves (Key Accountabilities) –
Take total responsibility for the overall success of major projects—guiding teams in each phase to achieve outcomes that exceed clients’ expectations and meet JLL’s commercial objectives.
Leading design management process through whole project life.
Collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders, leading from the front while also taking the time to understand their point of view.
Always considers what’s best for our clients. Maintain a strong and positive relationship with our clients by identifying their needs, requirements and constraints.
Create estimated budget & detail schedule as per Client’s various requirement.
Assist Client to organize & analyse all tender and procurement of all contractors & suppliers.
Pay close attention to each business opportunities. Survey Client basic needs, complete commercial assessments and prepare PM proposals to Client
Handle contract administration of all vendors professionally according to legal requirements. Always protect both our and the clients’ commercial interests.
Establish an effective organisational structure for reporting, communication and working procedures, and ensure that clear objectives and quality control systems are in place.
Attend project meetings and develop project-related reports, analyses and reviews regularly.
Lead a high-motivated team, thrive under pressure and deal effectively with tight deadlines and high expectations.
Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications
Desired experience and technical skills:Education /Work Experience:
Bachelor degree or above major in architectural, civil engineering, MEP engineering, or related discipline or field, or a mix of formal education and work experience on design, construction or project management.
Well-versed in design management in whole project life-cycle.
8-10 years of project experience in delivering large-scale Office new build / fit-out Design & Build projects for multi-national Clients.
Business Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in English, in both oral and writing communications.
Be proficient in MS Office software, Auto CAD and MS Project to complete analysis & reports.
Well-practiced in Power Point for presentations.
Skillful in commercial negotiations with client, contractors, consultants and authorities. Be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with stakeholders in and out of the organization.
Familiar with China construction market, regulations and general practices. Understand the legal environment for each project and be able to direct project avoiding any legal risks.
Demonstrate market analysis ability to identify right opportunities.
To be able to conduct feasibility study.
Interpersonal Skills
Motivate the Project Team members.
Provide leadership to Team.
Ensure effective delegation of responsibility and authority.
Create an environment where all Team members are encouraged to contribute.
Manage company staff to achieve enthusiastic and effective contribution to the project.
Assist the General Manager in setting a strategic direction for the division in the local market.
