Major tasks and responsibilities of position (max. 8 key topics):

1. Responsible for the new prodcut development of key business segment (Extrusion grades, HTBP relevant grades) in APAC, which TPU Global team had positioned it as a key driving business for business growth.
2. As key contributor to the Trial Master File and study documents at the country level, ensures essential documents are appropriate and filed in a timely manner in the Investigator Site File referring to Core 46.
3. Assists Head of TPU Innovation APAC for tracking enrollment R&D activities to ensure the progress remains on track with TPU APAC commitments. Leads RD researcher for new prodcut development at Shenzhen and Zhuhai sites.
4. Development and implementation of new approach for testing and assessment of extrusion product, to imprvoe the quality within the respective expert area across the global organization (Global technical center, regional experts), and to set up a new template for technical exchange (AD/BD).
5. Ability to solve technical and scientific problems and to initiate improvements in working practice at regional APAC level.
6. Capable of managing multiple tasks, working effectively and interfacing directly with customers if needed, and providing timelt results to assure to quality of products shipped to customers (e.g China, India or Japan customers).
7. Supports P&T group of APAC regions to improve product quality and production efficiency. Contributes to the definition of technical/asset requirements to achieve required product specifications.
8. Be responsible for cross BU cooperation with APAC R&D teams PCS and CAS to develop opportunities and facilitate know-how change.

Value added to the success of the company – what are the main objectives of the function?

1. Is responsible for documentation and communication of technical good practice documents for new site establishment in China.
2. Pro-actively participates in experience exchange and knowledge transfer between the site R&D researchers.
3. Lead a research laboratory in specific areas of applications to support the business strategy, e.g. extrusion grades.
4. Trial handling at ZHU sites majorly for project development and business growth.

Internal:
1. Global technical center in DE.
2. Regional Business/Sales development.
3. Different regional of RD teams (Dormagen, Shenzhen, Cuddalore, and DCP).

External:
1. Cooperation partners and Customers.
2. External partners and academia in the field of polymer chemistry.
