We are offering an internship opportunity for recent graduates or current students to join our team as an intern for the position of Marketing/Business Development Executive.
You will receive comprehensive training to jumpstart your career in marketing and business development. In this role you will assist in lead generation, nurturing relationships, supporting trade activities and conducting market research.
With guidance you will work towards achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets while gaining valuable skills and experience. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as lead generation, market research, customer service and communication with importers and buyers.
We are an Agricultural Commodity trading firm and are looking for a Marketing/Business Development Executive Intern who can help us to network with buyers and importers in China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Greece, Italy, U.AE. and Qatar.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation - Identify potential leads through various channels, Utilise CRM (Customer Relations Management) software to track potential and current leads.
- Calls - Initiate calls to prospective importers and buyers following a pre-defined script or guideline.
- Emails - Send out emails to prospective clients and follow up on sent emails with a secondary communication.
- Reporting and Documentation - Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports and maintain an accurate record of all business development activities.
- Manage, update, and maintain a CRM.
- Other tasks were assigned by the Department Head.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work well independently.
- English writing and speaking skills are a must.
- Basic MS Excel skills are required along with email writing skills in English language.
