Engineering Manager

Project overview: The App Engineering organization covers the development of distinct product versions for approximately a dozen airline customers. Some are large strategic customers where most of the product development is centered. Some are smaller and largely just being maintained with minimal product investment. The App Engineering teams span Spain, Colombia and the Philippines. This group overall is over 175 people and has fewer than 5 proven engineering people leaders to organize themselves.
Position overview: We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and oversee project development. You will ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in processes and performance.

  • Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers to meet project goals
  • Oversee day-to-day development activities and project execution
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Implement engineering best practices and process improvements
  • Provide technical guidance and support for the team
  • Suggest new best practices, or process improvements for the engineering team

  • Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in a management role
  • Strong technical knowledge in software or hardware development
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
