We’re looking for a Communications Manager to lead the definition and execution of communication strategies for the Andean Cluster (Colombia, Ecuador & Peru) markets in order convey PMI transformation and foster conversations on tobacco harm reduction, especially among key decision makers, scientific/medical community, and the media.

Responsibilities:

Create the Comms Strategy for the Andean Cluster markets. Support the alignment and consistency among all messages delivered by the Company or any Andean Cluster's spokesperson, or even among media.
Contribute with the education and activation of medical, scientific, and the academic community in the Andean Cluster on tobacco harm reduction and better alternatives to cigarettes that deliver nicotine with no combustion.
Support the definition and execute a comprehensive strategy to position the harm reduction concept in nicotine consumption in the Andean Cluster by carrying out various actions for different audiences: civil society, scientific engagement community regulators, smokers, and smoke-free products' users.
Execute initiatives intended to boost conversations about Smoke-Free Products (SFP) in the Andean Cluster, especially among regulators, scientific/medical community, and journalists.
Contribute to an informed debate – based on scientific evidence and factual/objective information - regarding Tobacco harm reduction (THR) and SFP in the Andean Cluster, while visualizing PMI's commitment to creating a smoke-free future.
Coordinate and lead media engagements between Andean Cluster's spokesperson and journalists.
Plan and deploy media tours with Andean Cluster´s spokespersons/speakers to position corporate messages among the public opinion.
Be part of the execution of contingency plans to protect the Company’s reputation and be prepared for potential risks.
Lead the coordination of the Sustainability Communications plan that enhance our reputation and helps PMI business transformation.

Minimum requirements:

College/University in Journalism, Communication, or Political Science.
5+ years’ experience in the public or private sector in related matters.
Media management experience.
English Advanced.
