In Custom Doors, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Purchasing Agent to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services for our company, from identifying vendors to negotiating contracts and placing orders. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure we obtain the best products and services at the most competitive price possible.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate potential vendors to identify the best candidates for our purchasing needs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
- Place orders and manage order tracking to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure purchases meet company requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest purchasing-related laws and regulations (For Miami, USA - Honduras and Colombia)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing role.
- Strong contract negotiation experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Experience with purchasing management software a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
