POSITION SUMMARY (RESUMEN DE LA POSICIÓN):


Under the direction of the CS/OPS Global Hub Supervisor LATAM, is responsible for contacting the sites of the assigned country(s), in order to carry out the coordination via telephone, email or other approved communication channel (with date, time and contact authorized) for the deliveries or pickups, execute, track and review activities related to job execution and system updates, handling a high level of customer service, issue resolution and internal communication, as well as order and control over assigned tasks, committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Bajo la dirección del Supervisor de OPS/CS Global Hub LATAM, es responsable de contactar a los sitios de(los) país(es) asignados, con el fin de realizar la coordinación vía telefónica, correo electrónico u otro canal de comunicación aprobado (con fecha, hora y contacto autorizado) para la entrega o recolección de las distribuciones, ejecutar, rastrear y revisar actividades para la ejecución del envío y las actualizaciones en sistema, manejando un alto nivel de servicio al cliente, resolución de novedades y comunicación interna, así como orden y control sobre las tareas asignadas, comprometido con la mejora continua y la satisfacción del cliente).



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES):



Fullfill all the position duties, such as: (Cumplir con sus obligaciones, tales como:).

  • All contact and coordination activities are properly done in a timely and cost-effective way. (Todas las actividades de contacto y coordinación se completen adecuadamente, a tiempo y de manera entable).
  • Make the activity records correctly, in the assigned control tool for the function, generating efficient communication flows, which help to guarantee the success of the function for the company. (Realizar de manera correcta los registros de actividad en la herramienta de control asignada, generando flujos de comunicación eficientes que ayuden a asegurar el éxito de la función para la compañía)


Ensure the timely filing and update of the activities under its responsibility, to allow the generation of performance indicators for the team. Asegurar el oportuno registro y actualización sobre las actividades a su cargo, para permitir la generación de indicadores de gestión del equipo.



To edit and maintain shipments in TMS (Transportation Management System) or the applicable system according to process instructions. Editar y mantener los envíos en el sistema TMS o el que aplique, de acuerdo con las instrucciones del proceso.



Frequently check over the Transport Management System monitors and manage the pre-advice shipments. Revisar continuamente Sistema de Gestión de Transporte y manejar los envíos preavisados.



To work safely with all relevant regulations (IATA) as well as laws and ordinances

Trabaja de forma segura con todos los reglamentos pertinentes (IATA), así como las leyes y ordenanzas


To use and maintain the available tools

Utilizar y mantener las herramientas disponibles


To keep proper communication with national and international offices stations of World Courier as needed in a kindly and timely manner.

Comunicarse con las oficinas nacionales e internacionales de World Courier según sea requerido, de manera amable y oportuna


Recognize and utilize important information and make immediate use of this information (All Stations Emails, Ops-Memos, customer instructions);

Reconocer y utilizar información importante y hacer uso inmediato de esta información (Correos de Todas las Estaciones, Memos Operativos, instrucciones de los clientes);


Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for;

Realizar otros deberes para los que el empleado haya sido capacitado

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (EXPERIENCIA Y REQUISITOS ACADÉMICOS):



Required :

  • Degree in foreign trade, business administration, logistics, industrial engineering or related careers from an accredited university. With 6 months of experience
Or
Minimum 8 semester student in the same careers. With 1,5 years of experience
Or
Technician in the same careers. With 2,5 years of experience
  • Licenciatura en comercio exterior, administración de empresas, logística, ingeniería industrial o carreras afines de una universidad acreditada. Con 6 meses de experiencia.
O
Estudiante mínimo de 8 semestres en las mismas carreras. Con 1,5 años de experiencia.
O
Técnico en las mismas carreras. Con 2,5 años de experiencia.
Preferred (preferable):
  • Experience in the logistics field;
(Experiencia en el campo de la logística.
  • Intermediate Oral and written English desirable
(Inglés oral y escrito deseable)

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS (REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS DE HÁBILIDADES, CONOCIMIENTOS Y CAPACIDADES):



Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints and pressure. (Habilidad para trabajar en forma rápida y precisa bajo limitaciones de tiempo y volumen, así como bajo presión).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of generating customer confidence. (Fuertes capacidades interpersonales y de comunicación. Capaz de generar confianza hacia el cliente).
Analytical skills. (capacidades analíticas).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and teamwork. (Fuerte capacidad de organización; atención a los detalles y trabajo en equipo).
Be able to take initiatives and responsibilities. (Ser capaz de tomar iniciativas y asumir responsabilidades).
Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. (Capacidades básicas en computación. Conocimiento de Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point y Outlook).
Work schedule flexibility (Flexibilidad en el horario de trabajo)
