Job Description:
Minute By Minute Logistics LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Freight Broker to join our team. This is a remote position focused on candidates based in Colombia. As an Auto Freight Broker, you will play a crucial role in connecting shippers with reliable carriers to transport vehicles across the United States. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be key in managing relationships with clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brokerage Services:
- Act as the intermediary between shippers and carriers, ensuring vehicles are transported efficiently and safely.
- Negotiate rates and secure contracts with carriers to fulfill shipping orders.
- Coordinate and monitor the entire transportation process, from pickup to delivery.
- Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
- Carrier Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with a network of carriers.
- Ensure carriers meet company standards for safety, reliability, and service.
- Negotiate carrier rates and manage payment terms.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation related to shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or a related field, preferably in the auto transport industry.
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, freight management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
