OOCL is thrilled to announce the opening of our new location in Escazu, Costa Rica! We are expanding our operations and looking for talented individuals to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading global logistics and container transportation company.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
- Customer Service Assistant Manager
- Operations Assistant Manager
- HR & Administration Manager
- Customer Service Representative
- Operations Specialist

- Manage daily workload and staff to meet customer expectations and OOCL departmental requirements. Including but not limited to PTO, performance, reporting requirements, staff development, etc.
- Initiate continual staff training on OOCL guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure high performance standards and staff knowledge.
- Manage all exceptions and service recoveries as first point of contact.
- Identify, develop and adapt best practices.
- Understand and ensure ISO/Government/Regulatory requirements are maintained by all staff and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of regulatory transportation requirements (Customs, DOT, Hazardous, etc.)
- Supervisory experience in a team environment
- Experience with terminal and rail operations
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
