Red Nucleus is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to join our global team! This role can be full-time remote in Costa Rica, or hybrid based out of our San Jose office.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of all assigned projects. Under guidance from the Creative Services Manager, the graphic designer works to ensure that all projects are completed within house style and branding guidelines. The position works with members of the scientific team, account managers, and directors to complete projects as directed.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Transfer poster outlines from Word documents into scientific poster templates in Adobe In Design and Microsoft Power Point
• Create, edit, and stylize slides in Power Point presentations
• Incorporate edits from PDF comments into In Design files
• Translate branding and house styles into Word documents and Power Point presentations
• Trace scientific graphs in Adobe Illustrator
• Edit and stylize graphs in Power Point
• Portray text and data into visual formats
• Create infographics
• Communicate with all employees throughout the company to meet their graphics needs

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
• Proficient in Adobe In Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
• High level of organizational and time-management skills
• Detail oriented and focused on quality
• Strong compositional design skills
• Strong conceptualization skills
• Ability to manage and execute a variety of projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrates the ability to gain the trust and respect of clients and colleagues
• Strong applicants will also have knowledge of the following: Adobe After Effects, Constant Contact and Motion graphics
