Internship Program – R&D Product Development & Innovation

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative international company in hyper-growth as we launch a significant revolution to transform the women´s aesthetics industry.

Objective:

Provide technical support to the Product Development & Innovation department in the execution of Design Controls activities such as testing, documentation and validations of medical devices.

Necessary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Support engineers in the drafting of documentation for the design file of a product.
Support engineers in the drafting of protocol, execution and drafting reports of laboratory, experimental tests and validations.
Support engineers in the drafting and execution of Non-Conformances or CAPAs.
Support engineers with the coordination and execution of any required inter-departmental activity.
Support in prototyping and testing of new products and improvements to existing products.
Any other special activity required by the department.

Relationships and Roles:

Reports to RDI Sr Supervisor.
Works with the Product Development and Innovation department, can work in one of three different areas: Implantables, Tools or Sustaining.

Job Specifications and Skills:

University student of the career of Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biotechnology or related careers.
Intermediate level of English.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) at intermediate level.
Desirable: knowledge of statistics and use of Minitab.

Other details:

In person internship in Zona Franca Coyol, Alajuela.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (can be flexible depending on university schedule).
Duration of internship: 6 months, with possibility to extension based on performance.
This position does not include compensation
