We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Heredia, Costa Rica.

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will have a high volume interaction with landlords, Station Managers, and internal business unit groups to ensure timely and accurate accounts payables, invoices, account reconciliations, IFRS16 compliance, lease agreement interpretation & reporting of DHL account activities in accordance with accounting principles and corporate policies.

Your tasks:

Monitor CREA Landlord mailbox & process requests
Responsible for Lease abstract & data quality
Process Commencement certificates
Process Estoppel & SNDA
Support savings & avoidance reporting
Give support to the team members in accounting process
Prepare & distribute monthly reports
Support lease interpretation & analytical reviews
Maintain and validate documentation: SOP's, job aids, process flows, contingency plans, and Period-end timetables.
Ensure the financial accounts (balance sheets, P&L and Notes) are kept in line with IFRS16, LEAP Coordinators, Deutsche Post DHL policy and guidelines, and the DHL Regional Business Unit Operating Model.
Support the audit process (internal and external) in the most efficient way
Additional tasks/projects may vary according with annual KPI’s & customer centricity feedback.

Your profile:

Education Level

Technical degree in Accounting, Paralegal, or advanced Degree student
English Proficiency Intermediate (be able to read & communicate)
Intermediate Excel
Experience in SAP, Oracle, JBA, Bizagi, Brasware, Planon would be a plus

Experience Level

Previous experience in similar roles (2-3 years)
