Technical Support Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to cases and collaborate with a global team of experts todeliver effective solutions
  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve complex issues, ensuring seamless escalation processes
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and concerns
  • Collaborating with Solution Architects, Product Management, and Engineering teams to improve solutions and drive innovation
  • Conduct diagnostics and performance optimization, analyze incidents and recommend solutions, transfer product knowledge to customers

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Passion for customer care and customer satisfaction.• Previous experience in a customer facing technical support role (preferably a support role).• A successful track record in developing and managing customer relationships.• Experience in Windows/Linux operating systems• At least 1-year experience in Managing Client Expectations/Satisfaction• At least 1-year experience in Problem Determination/Resolution

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in shell scripting• knowledge in Enterprise DBMS, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or IBM DB2• Experience of a programming language such as Java, Python, C/C++• Familiar with containerization software such as Docker and Kubernetes• Familiar with Cloud native technologies• Familiar with Software networking• JSON, XML, Web Sphere Liberty, Web Sphere MQ• New Relic or Instana Monitoring• Sterling Order Management• Open Shift/AWS will be an added advantage• Prior experience in Product Support is a bonus
