A Day in the Life

This role reports into the Office of Ethics & Compliance Global Auditing & Monitoring (A&M) team. The focus of this team is the continued building and enhancing of global compliance risk assessment, monitoring, and related reporting capabilities with the operating unit and regional compliance functions. This role will work as part of an audit and monitoring COE (Center of Excellence) that performs audit and monitoring procedures as part of a global COE with an anticipated flexible cross-region focus across EMEA, LATAM and APAC, including the various countries and operating units.

For this role, you are required to work from the Prague office 2 days a week, the rest is work from home. Medtronic does not cover the cost of relocation to Prague, Czech Republic.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Provide A&M test execution support to the Global Compliance Auditing & Monitoring team as required, including project management, test design, key control identification and result scoring.
• Assist in creation of periodic metrics, dashboards, and reporting of EMEA, LATAM or APAC monitoring results as requested (or other regions if expanded flex assignments occur)
• Execute daily audit and monitoring activities.
• Serve as a key contact point for Global Compliance Auditing & Monitoring team in its interactions with various businesses and geographies, other Medtronic departments and external entities
• Maintain technical competence in auditing, information systems, and compliance policies and government regulations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English (C1)
• Experience working in a risk or compliance-related function or department
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note).

Fluency in French or Portuguese as well as having knowledge and experience connected to Power BI would be advantageous.
