The site of Nakovnik, based in the Czech Republic, belongs to BRAIN Division. The site has 450 employees around 5 activities. We are looking for a VIE Purchasing for 12 months.

Your challenges?

• You will get trained, mainly on Job training, next to a senior colleague, for main purchasing activities linked to new projects coming to the plant (price comparisons, sourcing, contracting, data management in SAP and other IT systems
  
• You will support reporting activities (external purchasing index, project purchasing inde) and gradually taking over some of them
  
• You will support standard new projects activities: parts entry in SAP, support of procurement activities
  
• You will work on costs optimisation of purchased electronic components, market share optimisation but also search for new (better/cheaper) components
  
• You will support development of new mechanical components (ex: from Aluminium casting to Plastic injection technology)
  
• You will communicate regularly and build relationships with suppliers
  
• You will find and implement improvements and savings and find quick solutions to material supplies (deadlines, logistical crises, etc.)
  
• You will manage tenders according to the standards of the Valeo group
  
• You will negotiate prices and conditions with suppliers
  
• You will support the implementation of the various phases of projects
  

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Master/ School degree in Purchasing
  
• Ideally, you already have experience in Purchasing
  
• You have a fluent level of English
  
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
  
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
  
• Ideally you have a good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, SAP advantage
