If “Yes” – We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager / Configuration Manager to join our team in Prague, Czech Republic.
As part of the prestigious Terma Quality Assurance organization, you will contribute to a small team in Prague working on ground support projects in the Space / Ground Support Business Unit.
The job will include a high diversity in tasks, but support within Quality Assurance can also include or be direct support to other parts of Terma.
Our projects comprise the design and construction of satellite testing systems including hardware and software, or Mission Control Systems used for large European space missions.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will typically include:

• Ensure that contractual quality requirements and regulatory requirements for quality are met in projects for Space/ Ground Support in our projects.
• Ensure customer quality requirements are identified early (by participation in proposal and contract reviews) and documented and implemented in the project via the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
• Assist the Project Managers to meet the required documentation standards on the projects.
• Produce and update quality-related documentation on projects, proposals and offers.
• Represent our QA in customer-facing project milestone meetings,
• Participate in project milestone meetings to ensure milestone check list compliance.
• Perform quality related tasks such as incoming parts inspections, CE checks, and assist with various test procedures.
• Support internal and external quality audits for certification purposes.
• Support QA-related tasks in the wider global corporation context such as participating in supplier quality reviews, document updates or other internal process support and document handling.
• Participate in supplier approvals, supplier performance monitoring, supplier related quality assurance activities and problem solving.

This is a part-time position located in Prague, Czech Republic, to start as soon as possible.
Qualifications & Competencies
Applicants shall have an academic background with a university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering and or experience in working in high-tech industry such as Space, Aerospace or Automotive.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Manager/Specialist, preferably in a high-tech industry such as space, aerospace or automotive.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• MS Office working proficiency.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Organizational skills, ability to work individually.
• Strong execution skills: Solution orientation, courageous and self-confidential presence – e.g. not being afraid of taking a stand, always in a constructive and humble manner

Please note that applicants must hold all appropriate documentation and permits to work in Europe.
The following will be an advantage:

• Knowledge of / interest in electronic circuits
• Knowledge of Software systems
• System level experience understanding the interaction between mechanical, electronic and software components.
