Sales Representative


#joinoerlikon – as Sales Representative (gn) in Jihlava (CZ)



In this role you have the regional responsibility for all Customers in Czech Republic and in Slovakia. You are responsible for economic development, market analyses and market development. In particular, it promotes cross-selling activities in line with the One Oerlikon strategy.



Your responsibilities

  • Effective customer visit planning (customers and prospective customers)
  • Creation of customer visit reports in the CRM system
  • Continuous development of a customer base and comprehensive maintenance of customer data
  • Preparation and control of the annual sales budget for the responsible market
  • Management, maintenance and optimization of the customer database (CRM)
  • Reporting on market and sales activities
  • Economic, market- and target group-orientated customer care
  • Procurement of user results
  • Active participation in trade fairs and follow-up of trade fair contacts
  • Organisation and implementation of customer seminars and specialist conferences
  • Informing customers/interested parties about new products, applications, results and prices, conditions
  • Dealing with external complaints
  • Reporting on the market served and the corresponding sales activities
  • Monitoring the creditworthiness of customers
  • Special tasks (projects)
  • Economic, market- and target group-orientated customer service
  • Reporting to superiors
  • Achievement of the annually defined sales targets
  • Compliance with all statutory export control regulations
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Good communication between the company, Oerlikon sites and customers


Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education background in Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other engineering fields
  • Knowledge in Sales & Marketing in an international industrial environment
  • Project Management experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must (other language is beneficial)
  • Strategic thinking & business acumen, good analytical skills and structured way of working
  • High level of communication skills in international environment with multicultural empathy and diplomacy
  • Highly self-motivated and resilient, authentic, service-oriented and hands-on personality
