Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our diverse and creative kitchen team.

About the role:
Responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the daily activities of food preparation in all the kitchens, restaurant and banquet operations. Actively keeps him/herself involved with the culinary and hotel team. Be pro-active and researches on new food trends and food technology. Assists the Executive Chef to provide the highest quality of food within cost percentage of the hotel.

This job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the country of Czech Republic. This position is offered for a defined period of time of 24 months with a possibility of extension to unlimited contract based on your performance. Your trial period will be 6 months.

What will you do:

• Organize all areas of the kitchen including prep, stations and storage.
• Manage the flow between breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight shifts.
• Own the dinner food presentation for guests of Cotto Crudo restaurant, In-Room dinning and banquets.
• Support creativity among culinary team members, and mentor the next generation of culinary talent.
• Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
• Follow HACCP and local Hygiene laws at all times.
• Order all required product to maintain sufficient inventory.

What will you bring:

• Previous experience in similar and/or related fields in a 5* Hotel.
• At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef in luxury hospitality.
• Fluent in English and additional languages desirable.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience of working in fast paced and deadline driven environment.
