In this role, you will take on a global position with a direct reporting line to the Senior Head of Global Logistics. You will be the main point of contact and central figure for all matters related to packaging. You will provide guidance and drive ongoing process improvements.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain packaging standards and guidelines at GG Group to ensure compliance across all production sites.
• Monitor and control packaging costs, working to find cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve packaging processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Interface with customers to understand their packaging requirements and address any concerns or feedback regarding packaging solutions.
• Define sustainable packaging solutions with customer and supplier to minimize environmental impact.
• Collaborate with local logistics and supply chain teams to optimize packaging for efficient storage, handling, and transportation.
• Support the local plants for all projects linked with optimize and set up packaging management – SAP data set up, testing, best practice sharing.

Your profile

• Min. 3 years of relevant Supply Chain or Packaging experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Business fluency in English.
• Proficiency in detailed data analysis and interpretation to drive packaging decisions.
• Basic SAP ERP knowledge, advanced level is an advantage.
• Continuous improvement mindset to enhance packaging processes and solutions including strong interpersonal and communication skills.
