Cluster Supply Chain Manager

This role is active member of Cluster Leadership Team, driving and influencing business decisions to facilitate an optimal outcome for Operations and Commercial function. Participating in the development of Supply Chain capabilities and maturity. Providing direction, development and coaching to the teams to ensure a dedicated diverse Supply Chain organisation that is aligned and synchronised with CBU plans.
Purpose: To lead in alignment with Global / Regional objectives and stakeholders the E2E Supply Chain for a Cluster of end markets (Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary) within the Central Europe Area. Driving optimised supply & demand considering Operations and EM Commercial objectives by: ensuring a future fit ready for regulation B2B / B2C supply chain, embedding new BAU capability to drive SC efficiency and effectiveness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Business Accountabilities:
- Validate cluster end market’s long-term demand forecast view and provide input on all supply relevant topics into cluster and area SOP forums
- Be accountable for managing Primary and Secondary Supply Chain in the cluster of markets (primary logistics in Hungary for 3 production sites and secondary logistics across the 3 end markets in the cluster)- ensure stock management and delivery in line with the cluster Cycle Plan and agreed set of critical metrics, with the clear focus on minimising disruption to business
- Ensure a risk sensing process is embedded to enable the early identification of risks and suitable mitigation plans
- Conduct necessary benchmarking reviews vs standard process operations (internal or external). Leverage the results to ensure the supply chain is optimised (Cost, Cash & Service) and future fit
- Actively participate in the Area SC digitalisation agenda and processes (Kinaxis, Power BI Dashboard, Reporting) enabling: access to near real time data, fast decision making, Issue RCA.
People Accountabilities:
- Drive the development of individuals and teams by: acting as a role model and living the values, managing poor performance, coordination of training/education and coaching.
- Ensure that all administrative activities related to Managing Team (Joiner, Mover, Leaver), recruitment, performance improvement, time-off etc. are performed and followed OTIF
- Encourage development of the team through 70-20-10 concept.
- Responsible for their personal safety and that of all personnel under his otheirority, including others who may be affected by the company's activities. Implement the company EHS policy and plan. Ensure all employees and sub-contractors are suitably trained/competent to carry out the prescribed task and that the necessary licenses/certificates of competence are in force and appropriate. Ensure appropriate Risk Assessments on activities within the department are performed, ensuring that the all premises and processes are safe
What are we looking for?
- Experienced Supply Chain professional with a proven track record with Min. 3 years’ middle management experience in CPG Supply Chain, ideally multi subject area e.g. Logistics and Planning.
- High level of ‘standard methodology’ knowledge is required within the business of supply chain
- Proven business change management competence.
- Strong breadth / depth of Supply Chain knowledge (concepts and principles) across multiple fields: e.g. Planning, NPI, Logistics, Production, IWS.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experienced influencing skills: ability to influence business partners as well as the ability to be bold if required.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- A passion and drive for the development of people, processes, capability.
