Job Purpose:
This role delivers value in conducting tenders and closing contracts to ensure purchasing processes are on a complaint way for all business divisions.
Your main tasks will be:
- Identifying tenders where contract is needed in collaboration with buyer and sourcing team.
- Choosing the relevant sourcing strategy and recognize the possible suppliers on the market, design a proper market analysis.
- Leading tenders without supervision according to the business requirements.
- Maintaining a close relationship with business during the tendering and contracting phase.
- Closing contracts according to the DPDHL contracting policies and in accordance with country specific requirements.
- Ensuring contract quality in the relevant system.
- Securing the vendor availability in the given purchasing system.
- Assuring the contracted item availability in the country’s catalogue system.
- Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team and with the buyer/sourcing team.
Your profile should look like:
- Completed university or high school education in economic, logistics, communication or any related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement environment or in customer focused role.
- Proficiency in English and Hungarian – reading, writing & speaking, ability to speak in the local language of the supported country.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant knowledge of industry and economy.
- Knowledge of sourcing practices and contracting procedures is a big advantage.
- Experience in working with MS Office suite (Office, Excel, Word, Power Point).
