Analytics Manager, Digital Consumer Engagement

Core Responsibilities
You will partner with Product Managers, Audience Strategy Leads, and Marketing & Content professionals to understand how consumers interact with our digital touchpoints, and translate business questions into data analytics projects that will help us identify sources of growth for our business. You will lead the implementation of user and audience behavior tracking across digital touchpoints, ensuring ethical and transparent use of opted-in consumer data. Furthermore, you will:

Define and develop tailored dashboards and self-serve reporting capabilities for various user groups using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Work in a cross-functional data & analytics team to create well structured, easily accessible data sources that can be used for downstream reporting and analysis

Conduct analysis on digital product performance, user journeys, and marketing/content effectiveness to determine which touchpoints and tactics provide the greatest value.

Transform raw data into meaningful insights and recommendations, acting as a "data storyteller" to deliver actionable analysis to senior leadership.

Partner with other teams in the LEGO Group to identify and measure our most important leading indicators of increased consumer loyalty and lifetime value (CLV)

Our Data, Analytics & Enabling team is a newly created Data & Analytics practice within the LEGO Group’s Digital Consumer Engagement function. Our focus is on establishing two-way, long lasting and meaningful relationships with our consumers and shoppers, and we believe that the ethical, transparent, and effective use of consumer data is key to this ambition. You will be working at the core of our digital product teams, building our data analytics infrastructure and providing analysis & recommendations to continually improve our consumers’ experience within our digital ecosystem. Some of the products in our digital ecosystem include LEGO.com For Families & For Adults, LEGO Account, and the LEGO Building Instructions app.
Do you have what it takes?
You come with extensive experience in business insights for marketing or product development, especially in games or digital products, with a proven track record of driving action based on consumer behavior data analysis. You can demonstrate experience running hypothesis-driven research, to identify & validate core growth assumptions through robust analysis of multiple data sources. In addition, you are:

Proficient in turning raw, unstructured data into meaningful insights and recommendations, with expertise in data visualization and effective communication with senior business partners.

Skilled in Adobe Analytics and/or Snowplow, with experience in tracking variable implementation, consumer identity resolution, and user-journey analysis.

Efficient at handling large data sets in data platforms (such as Databricks), with mastery of SQL and Power BI. Additional Proficiency in Python or R is an asset.

Experienced in delivering difficult and complex projects involving multiple teams - We’re looking for a lynchpin who isn’t afraid to get things done even when they don’t have formal authority over everyone who needs to be involved to make it work, and is able to build collaborative working relationships across organizational boundaries.
Plus points if you have experience in applied statistics across multiple data sources and familiarity with digital marketing channels like CRM, web, paid media, and programmatic. Your background in retail, CPG, and e-commerce includes working with global teams across various geographies and cultures. You have successfully created data products within Agile development teams and possess a good understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
