Backup IT Operations Specialist

• Manage, build, and operate backup environments, appliances, supporting tools, and technical documentation according to Novo Nordisk standards, including requirement specifications and test plans, ensuring a standardized IT infrastructure platform for consistency and reliability
• Monitor, handle errors, and manage new installations while participating in projects and collaborating with specialists from various product areas
• Optimize systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution
• Take responsibility for deliveries to customers in accordance with approved Service Level Agreements, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and performance of services delivered from Global IT Operations (GITO) - Production Infrastructure

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining enterprise backup environments, preferably in a large organisation (graduate degree in a relevant field is considered as a plus)
• Basic knowledge of Linux Redhat is essential, it is also an advantage if you have knowledge of Netbackup Appliances, and experience optimizing and error handling within the Net Backup solution
• Good understanding of infrastructure like

• Windows Server Failover Clustering (knowledge is essential for Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022)
• Microsoft Active Directory services
• Server infrastructure, Active Directory, OU structure, AD Policy, Power Shell (commands and scripting), network, servers, and firewalls

• Proficiency in spoken and written English
