Orifarm GmbH
Communications Consultant
Odense
October 18, 2024
We are seeking a maternity cover for our Communications Consultant position, starting on December 1, 2024, or January 1, 2025, for a period of 12 months.
As our Communications Consultant, you must be a skilled and confident communicator who can jump straight into tasks, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality communication solutions. Whether you’re offering strategic guidance to management or drafting an engaging article for our intranet, you’ll excel in both—and more.
- Corporate Communications Advisor: Provide expert guidance on branding and communications to internal stakeholders. People trust your advice! You’ll also prepare the messaging and contribute to various communication initiatives.
- Content Creation: Write compelling news stories and articles for internal channels. You’ll also handle multimedia tasks, including photography and video interviews.
- Strategic Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute efficient communication plans. You oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring that planned stories are delivered on time and executed with impact.
- Digital Media Expertise: Oversee our digital platforms from a communications perspective, optimizing their use (e.g., intranet, website, Linked In) for maximum effectiveness. While you won’t need to be a technician, your role will involve shaping how we communicate digitally.
- Dynamic Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you’ll juggle multiple tasks. We plan ahead, but we also adapt quickly to urgent needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional with strong English skills—whether English is your native language, or you’ve gained fluency through other means. You likely have 3+ years of experience in similar roles. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus but not required.
You might be a freelancer or consultant seeking a temporary corporate role, or someone looking for a new challenge. Either way, you’re highly organized, efficient, and comfortable managing a variety of tasks. As a person, you are service-minded, optimistic, and able to think critically. You have a solution-oriented mindset, along with a motivating and engaging personality. Most importantly, you’re a team player who enjoys networking and working collaboratively.
At Orifarm, you’ll be part of a small and dynamic Corporate Communications team based in Odense. We’re focused on development and continuous improvement, so we’re always open to new ideas and initiatives that could enhance our work.

We regard our feedback culture as a fundamental element in the individual employee's opportunities for learning and development. When we have good results, every employee, including student workers, is part of our bonus scheme.
Everyone should have access to modern medicine. High costs or lack of access to pharmaceuticals should never impact our possibility to receive treatment or relief and live a healthy life. At Orifarm, we aim to bring healthy days by making modern healthcare a better deal for the people and the societies we serve. Working towards our vision, we create access to affordable, high-quality pharmaceuticals and healthcare products by challenging markets and always seeking new opportunities. With our core values paving the way, we always act responsibly and constantly with our customers at the center of our attention. And everything we do is driven by our sole purpose:
For as many as possible, as healthy a day as possible.
Our history goes back to 1994 when Orifarm was founded in Denmark by Hans and Birgitte Bøgh-Sørensen. Since then, Orifarm has grown from a small nine-person company into an international company operating globally in 15 countries. Today, Orifarm is Europe's largest parallel importer of pharmaceuticals and Denmark's largest supplier of pharmaceuticals, with more than 2,200 employees.
At Orifarm, we welcome people from all backgrounds, recognizing that the best outcomes come from a diverse and inclusive work environment. Our commitment is to create an environment where different perspectives and skills drive innovation and contribute to a sustainable future. By creating such an environment, we are confident that we can achieve better results together.
