A varied workday with ATEX requirements and product certification
The job offers exciting challenges and gives you the opportunity to shape your own work area. After thorough training, the plan is for you to be able to independently perform ATEX certification tasks. Your tasks may include:

ATEX-related certification tasks throughout the entire process - from sales and offers to testing, reporting, and final certification
Evaluation tasks related to the use and interpretation of Ex requirements in the EN 60079-x and EN 80079-X series of standards
Auditing and certification of ATEX quality modules (PQAN) by the requirements of ISO 9001 and EN 80079-34
Consulting in connection with the preparation of ATEX risk assessments, including zone classification
Conducting general and customer-specific ATEX courses
Interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with other experts at the Technological Institute
ATEX requirements for Power to X plants

We offer a job with the opportunity for continuous building and maintenance of knowledge within Directive 2014/34/EU as well as new and upcoming versions of the EN 60079-x and EN 80079-X series of standards. You will also have the opportunity to build interdisciplinary competencies to solve tasks at the interface between the ATEX, Machinery and PED Directives.

Electrical Engineer with Interest in Certification
You are most likely an electrical engineer or a machine technician with an interest in electrical safety. Perhaps you have a craft background where you have worked with installation requirements – e.g. according to EN 60079-14.
Our business depends on our customers having confidence in the expertise and advice we provide; it is therefore important that you as a person can create credibility and build good customer relationships. The position involves some travel activities related to visiting customers in Denmark and abroad. You therefore have a command of Danish and English and are used to formulating and communicating technical results both orally and in writing.

You will become part of the Technological Institute
In Certification & Inspection, we work with CE marking for machinery and process plants, risk assessments, training and courses, as well as type testing in accordance with ATEX 2014/34/EU, MD 2006/42/EC and PED 2014/68/EU. Furthermore, we work with approvals in accordance with the Danish Working Environment Authority's Executive Orders 99 and 100, inspections, accident investigations on stationary and mobile machinery as well as machinery and process plants.
